Pegasus Training

Using Articulate Storyline 360, I designed, coded, and published a training for new employees of the bookstore, teaching them how to special order used and new books, and how to document special orders.

This project contains a learning activity I'm particularly proud of: a simulation that challenges learners to apply their new knowledge of used book ordering parameters: conditions, seller ratings, and pricing.

Navigating through three different online used book marketplaces, learners are challenged to select the best copy (according to metrics of price, seller rating, and book condition) of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" to order for a customer.

I designed this activity to simulate the experience of quickly choosing from many available options, based on newly learned parameters.

It gives learners the opportunity to fail at the task in a safe environment, and, through failing and then succeeding, gain a deeper understanding of what they're looking for.
